In this lesson, you will learn phrase to introduce someone in Japanese. And using possessive pronouns?

In Japanese, you can introduce someone by using their name followed by the possessive particle “の” (no) to indicate possession or association. Here are some examples.

This is Bob’s book.
- これはボブの本です。 (Kore wa Bobu no hon desu.)
She is Mary’s friend.
- 彼女はメアリーの友達です。 (Kanojo wa Mearii no tomodachi desu.)
That is Tom’s car.
- あれはトムの車です。 (Are wa Tomu no kuruma desu.)
He is my brother.
- 彼は私の兄弟です。 (Kare wa watashi no kyoudai desu.)

In these examples, possessive pronouns (e.g., “Bob’s,” “Mary’s,” “Tom’s,” “my”) are formed by combining the person’s name with “の” (no) to indicate ownership or association.
