People who are pious are guaranteed by Allah
Whoever can increase pious to God, then we will give him ease for every facet of his life. And provide a solution to every problem. To summarize, whoever is pious, his life will be easier. Getting a job is easy for him, his marriage life is easy, his work at the office is easy, even death Allah makes it easy for a pious man.
The Quran stated the phrase” taqwa”115 times and in surah al-baqarah is the first verse which has this phrase that is in verse 2 of soorat al baqarah.
When God commands us to perform prayers, it is not for the purpose to burden man of worship, even more than that, God wants our life to be easier. God does not need our prayers, but we pray so that our lives get easier, however the question is If a person prays but his life does not become easier, it means that there is something wrong with his prayers.
Even Allah stated, His sustenance will be sent from a facet he does not know.

He wants to go to work, the food has just arrived, while others have difficulty getting a car, the car get stuck in a traffic congestion but, people who are pious are just looking for a car, and the car suddenly arrive to fetch him. There was a sudden traffic jam, but police came and control traffic and makes his car easier to maneuver through the congested road.
Prayer is supplication, but the origin of the word prayer is not supplication, but
صلى يصل صلاة
It means in Arabic: reach and connected, but why is the meaning supplication. It is because every person who supplicates his needs reached to Allah SWT and get connected. Prayer has a strong connection with Allah SWT.
Let’s take an example; a man lives in a rural area, and he has good relationship with the minister for that area or he knows the town council. Due to his strong connection with these people who knows the government, his request for utilities or convenience such as repairs of broken roads may be granted or education grants for his son to study in a university. Whereas others who has no connection will never have a chance of approval. This means if you know someone with a strong connection with the government most of your request will be granted and your life gets easier. But however, there is a disclaimer. Your life may get easier only in your area but if you go out of your territory you may have problems and things may not be the same. If knowing important people makes your life easy, what if you know the Lord who owns the universe due to your connection in prayers, your strong connection in prayers remembering Allah SWT, He makes your life easier, and your problems ease off.
وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مَخْرَجًا * وَيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ وَمَنْ يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَالِغُ أَمْرِهِ قَدْ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدْرًا
And whoever fears God, He will make for him a way out * and provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever puts his trust in God, it is sufficient for him, for God is in control of his affair. God has made a predetermined measure for everything. Al-Quran: Al talaq verse 2-3
The Quran guarantees that, whoever is close to Allah SWT then his life will be easier. Well, if human
guarantees your sustenance there might be no prove, but if your Lord guarantees. Allah SWT shows you the way out of your misery and inspire solution to your problems and makes life easier for you.
We heard from a worried man some complaints of family broke ups that is divorce has his kids displaced. This guy has tattoo all over his body and face plus earrings. His life is chaos and problematic, he does know what to do next. We asked him just one question; Bro did you do your prayers. He said: he never did prayer. You see this guy didn’t perform prayers and he also doesn’t know much about Islam. You see It is no point making ends meet to connect a broken family. It is the person himself, if he connects with Allah SWT, his problems will be solved and the difficulties in life he is facing will also be solved. But he also needs to be pious and abstain from doing sins. That said, he needs to repent from his sins, reflect whatever he did, learn about Islam and start a new life with more prayers. Then Allah SWT will arrange and connect the broken puzzles in his life. However, if a person is arrogant, stubborn, and still neglecting his prayers, then he will enter into more cycle of problems. These problems that he is facing is like Allah SWT knocking his door to improve on himself, reflect and change, before the worst thing that will happen in his life. What’s that? Live ends with a sudden death and by that time, it is too late to repent.
If your connection with Allah SWT is strong, you don’t have to worry about life. He guarantees tranquility in this world and the hereafter.
What’s Life in comparison with the hereafter?
Allah SWT describes life as “Ajilah”. It means quick, fast, short. If a person read this book at the aged of 60 if we compare his life against the description of life in the Quran, he will be astonished.
إِنَّ يَوْمًا عِندَ رَبِّكَ كَأَلْفِ سَنَةٍۢ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّونَ
Verily a day with God is like a thousand years of what you count
Al-Quran: Al Haj verse 47
Comparing life in the hereafter is one day equivalent as living on this earth for 1000 years. If you calculated life expires at 60. How many years he lives? Please do the math. Do you think with a short life span a person would go to transition grave, resurrection in ”mahsyar”, and wait for accountability and deeds weighted. Next to “Sirath Muntaha”, a huge place with hell fire blazing and exploding, even the angels drop on their knees. At this station the angels will ask every person regarding his deeds in this world. Indeed, the first thing to be accountable is the prayers. If there are shortcomings in performing prayers then the angels will scrutinize the non-obligatory prayers, and so on deeds are calculated this way. Then passing through a bridge and below it is the blazing fire. Imagine the horrifying rumble of explosions and standing at the edge of that hell valley you see people crawling with their faces on the ground, and people slipped and fell from that “sirath Muntaha”.
What are you going to answer? Ah never thought of it. It is better to think now and reflect your deeds and whatever you did in life before the bulb of your life blows out. At this cross junction nobody can help you. Instead, those people who recite and implement the Quran in their life will get “shafa’ah”, what’s that? The Quran will come to assist and help at “sirath Muntaha” crossing the bridge.
Sorry bro I can’t read, Sorry then you must wait, wait and wait. Or maybe fall from the top of that bridge to hell fire. May Allah SWT help you. Come on guys! A man aged 60 came to me, he just started learning alef, ba, ta. He said, I am a musician and played music for the past 20 years of my life, is it a sin? The reply: Bro, you spend your life entertaining others and these people at a night club do many sins from drinking to dating and worst yet some neglect prayers. Do you think Allah SWT is pleased with what you did? Why didn’t you spend time learning Islam and reciting Quran? Whatever you did bro, I think it is time to reflect and repent. Only Allah SWT may forgive you.
After crossing “Sirath Muntaha” it is heaven or hell and life of eternity.
Some people know this information, but sometimes life gets in the way with too much time spending looking at the handphones and gadget. And you know, it is just about discipline and will power to commit to what is good for you in the day of resurrection.
A person will meet the angel of death, and then into the grave. Sure, enough not much that people prepare themselves for the last breath on that day.
